He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Lonnie" Evans and Elizabeth "Libby" Hostettler; his stepmother Sue Dorris Evans; and his siblings, Carol Montgomery and John Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Evans (Lorrinda) of St. Louis, MO and Stacy Wiese (Nicolaas) of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandchildren, Christopher, Nicolaas, Sierra, Kiefer Thomas, Andrew and Ellen; and his sisters, Sue Kennedy (Larry), Donna Crawford (Bob), Sonja Bray (Danny), Vickie Knief (Richard) and Cindy Matthews.
