He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Bud Bower and Fern Baxter Bower Giltner; his son Buddy Bower; and his brother Bob Giltner. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kern Bower; his children, Andrea Bower (David) of Nabb, IN, Leslie Bower (Michelle) of Clarksville, IN and Randy Bower of Charlestown, IN; his grandchildren, Aralynn, Chris, Ashley, Emily and Haley; his siblings, Ronnie Giltner (Bobbie) of Newkirk, OK and Mary Beth Rodden (John) of Jeffersonville; and his nieces and nephews, Santiago, Diego, Jonny, Tristen, Finley, Joslyn, Veronica and Charlie.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home-Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Life Celebration Service (2319 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
