He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Estelle (R. Perkins Atherton) and Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Susan Green Atherton; his children, Ken Atherton, Jr. (Sandi) and Kristen Case (Kevin); his grandchildren, Carissa Atherton, Celia Atherton, Sadie Atherton, Kameron Case and Katelyn Case; and his sister Myra Claus.
