Joyce (Terry) Richmer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce (Terry) Richmer of Jeffersonville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Terry and Ione Cox (Young); her husband Raymond; and her brothers, Willard, John Franklin, James, Tom and Gilbert Terry.
She is survived by: her children, John Richmer (Julie), Mary Kay Richmer Campbell, Michael Richmer (Leah Ann) and Scott Richmer (Linda). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joyce's memory may be made to St. Croix Hospice (2916 Peach Blossom, Suite 106, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
