It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joella Beauford (Jeffersonville, Indiana), born in Quality, Kentucky, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Sweatt and Evelyn Sweatt; her significant other Clarence Beauford, Sr.; and her siblings, Minnie, Magdalene, Fred and David Earl.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Overton, Delores Foster, Dianne Beauford, Arnetta Boyd (Kenneth), Elaine Beauford, Clarence Beauford and Johnnie Florence (Phillip); her grandchildren, Mario Beauford, Meccia Vaughn, Monique Beauford, Cory Beauford, Devon Lovely, Danielle Overton and Jalen Oliver; her sisters, Mattie, Ruth, Barbara Ann and Joyce; and her brother-in-law Evan McWilliams. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery (2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
