It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice A Disbro (Jeffersonville, Indiana), born in Urban, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Abner and Marie Abner. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Riggs (Craig) and Michael Disbro (Jodie); her grandchildren, Kelsey Pennington (Braden), Jacob Riggs and Justin Riggs; her great grandchild Brenley Pennington; her sister Dorothy Surber; her husband Steve Disbro; and her siblings, Bobby Abner, Chris Holt and Judy LeBoeuf.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
