He was predeceased by: his father Homer, Sr. Barnett; and his children, Daniel and Angela. He is survived by: his mother Lydia Barnett (Hill); his wife Sue Barnett (Pike); his children, David Barnett (Ann) and Cindy Martin (Troy); his grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Tyler, Josie and Matthew; and his siblings, Billy Barnett (Marcia), Mary Jo Coomes (Jim) and Larry Barnett (Paula).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1840 E 8th St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (5507 New Chapel Rd, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
