He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Preston and Opal Adell Harris; his former wife Ruby Mae Harris; his son Shawn Norvell Harris; his siblings, Louella Anderson, Zelphia Mae Anderson and George Harris; and his sisters-in-law, Terry Harris and Sarah Rockett.

He is survived by: his spouse Miss Ruby Mae Pierce; his children, Darlene M. Leavell, Diane J. Harris, Constance D. Harris, Henry L. Harris, Jr. (Dawn) and George L. Harris, Sr.; his sister Cozella Sheckles; his grandchildren, Mia, Staci (Jharod), LaShawntae, George Jr., EJ and Ava; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Paris and Braylen; his daughter Kenyatta Black; his granddaughter Kennedi Battle; and his cousin Brighter Day Church. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brighter Day Anderson Temple (1755 E 8th St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Henry's memory may be made to Brighter Day Anderson Temple Church of God in Christ.
