He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Nesmith Sr. and Susie Nesmith (Moore); and his brother Bobby Dean Nesmith. He is survived by: his siblings, Janette Patton of Argos, William C. Jr. (Sue) of Winchester, KY, Daniel (Susan) of Rineyville, Denzil (Terry), Billy Gene (Nancy) and David (Rayetta) of Fredericksburg.
