It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Ann (Gilliland) Tanner of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gilliland and Thelma Gilliland (Stayton); her son Gary Brian Tanner; and her siblings, Robert Gilliland and Rosa Bratcher.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald Tanner, Jr.; her daughter Kimberly Zielberg (Mark); her daughter-in-law Valeska Tanner; her grandchildren, Halee, Cole and Lucas Tanner; and her brother William Gilliland.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150).
