With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Marie McKinney (Jeffersonville, Indiana), who passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Esther may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Esther touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond King and Laurena King; and her sisters, Carol Chappelle and Judy Dorman. She is survived by: her son Rick (Sherri); her grandchildren, Nolan McKinney and Miranda Morris; her grandson-in-law David; and her significant other Leroy McKinney.
