She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stanley Swearingen and Alma Dummitt Swearingen Ettel; her husband John Joseph "Joe" Hyman; her granddaughter Aryn Jo Hyman; and her siblings, Joe Harry Swearingen, George Stanley Swearingen, James Bert Swearingen and Ellen "Sis" Cassidy.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph D Hyman (Patti) of Frankfort, Vince Hyman (Becky) of Louisville, KY and Pat Hyman of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Catherine and Robert Hyman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
