He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Frantz and Margaret Frantz; his siblings, James Frantz Jr., Arthur Frantz, Eugene Frantz, Mary Cahill and Virginia Christianson; his nephews, James E. Frantz III and Steven Priest; and his son-in-law Rex Garcia.
He is survived by: his daughters, Morgan Frantz (Brent Oliver) of Ladson, SC and Raegen Garcia of North Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Heidi Gay, C. J. Oliver and Braylon Oliver; and his siblings, Pat Frantz, Ralph Frantz, Tim Frantz, JoAnn Higgins, Patricia Waller, Sharon Robinson, Lois Priest, Nancy Blunk and Linda Bush. He is also survived by 18 nieces, 27 Nephews, 72 great nieces and nephews, and 17 great-great nieces and nephews.
