He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bales and Joan Davis; his sister Vicky Pruitt; and his nephew Andrew "Andy" Pruitt. He is survived by: his children, Caroline Bales (Larry) and Kyle Bales (Amanda); his close friend Debbie; his grandchildren, Chandler, Cheyenne and Molly; his siblings, Carol Resch (Dave) and John Bales (Jeri); his brother-in-law Gerald Pruitt; and his pet Dozier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
