We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 73, Vernon J. Bridgewater of Jasper, Indiana, born in Washington, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Vernon departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Vernon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Bridgewater and Margaret Bridgewater (Spaulding). He is survived by: his wife Linda Bridgewater of Jasper, IN; his children, Angie Beckman of Ferdinand, IN, Melissa Gatwood (Jim) of Willis, TX and Michael Bridgewater (Katrina) of Jasper, IN; and his siblings, Theresa Miller (Randy) of Cannelberg, IN and Charlie Bridgewater (Peggy) of Loogootee, IN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
