He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard F. Dilger and Gertrude Bettag Dilger; his brother Harvey; and his sister-in-law Betty Dilger. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dilger of Jasper; his daughters, Kelley Knies (John) of Evansville and Tracey Welp (Duane) of Jasper; his grandchildren, Tyler Coppens (Lauren), Allison Haas (Kyle), Emily Brinker (Collin) and Lindsey Welp (Emma); his great grandchild James Brinker; and his sisters, Patricia Douglas and Jacqueline Meyer.
