He was predeceased by: his mother Rosalee Scherle (Hoffman); his wife Joyce Durcholz; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Prechtel and Donna Scherle. He is survived by: his daughters, Kara Glendening (Adam) of Celestine, IN and Kim Dutkosky (Dan) of Brownsburg, IN; his grandchildren, Josslyn, Kendyl Glendening, Marek and Natia Dutkosky; his siblings, Elaine Prechtel of Jasper, IN, Donna Hart (Brett) of Cedar City, UT, Fred Scherle (Sandy) of Advance, NC, Bob Scherle of Dubois, IN and Jerry Scherle (Lisa) of Huntingburg, IN; his brother-in-law Gary Durcholz (Mary); and also Bernie Scherle of Jasper, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
