With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald A. Bonifer of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Bonifer and Louise Bonifer (Wehr); his wife Mary Ann Hochgesang of Joseph's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Doris Schnell, Kenny and Eugene "Butch" Bonifer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Humphrey (David) of Kuttawa, KY and Rachelle Bonifer of Kannapolis, NC; his stepson Mark Hopf of Charlotte, NC; his stepgrandson Luke Hopf (Emily) of Winston Salem, NC; his stepgreat-grandson Julian Hopf; his siblings, Shirley Terwiske (Gerald) of Dubois, IN, Ruth Hauser (Bill), Diane Bair (Gary) of Dubois, IN and Ralph Bonifer (Alice) of Chicago, IL; and his sister-in-law Betty Bonifer of Jasper, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or MDS (Myelodysplastic syndrome) Foundation.
