With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Craney of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Howard Craney and Martha Craney (Arvin); and his siblings, Joyce Craney, Pamela and James.

He is survived by: his siblings, Marietta Craney (Joy Carter), Marsha Craney, Janet Toy (John) and Joseph Craney (Carolyn); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Ding (Doug), Katie Robbins (Nick), Cameron Craney and Conner Craney (Morgan).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Richard's name to: the American Heart Association at PO Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692; or the Alzheimers Association at 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46209-4830.
