She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Kane and Anita Kane (Frank); her husband Eugene E. "Gene" Erny; and her siblings, Shirley Kraft, William "Bill' and Kenneth "Kenny" Kane.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Merkley (Jeff) of Jasper, IN and Bryan Erny (Angela) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Janelle, Jennifer Merkley, Cole and Alec Erny; her great grandchildren, Addison, Reagan, Emerson and Hayden Merkley; and her brother Richard Kane (Carolyn) of Huntingburg, IN.. She is also survived by her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
