She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Norrick and Lulu Norrick; her husband John Leighty; her daughters, Rosie Matteson and Betty; her sons-in-law, Herb Tredway and Ralph Alexander; and her grandchildren, Christy and Amy.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Alexander; her son-in-law Rodney Matteson; her sister Ruth Raber; and her grandchildren, Angie, Eric, Kathy, Matt, Jim and John. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (705 Walnut St, Petersburg, IN 47567). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
