He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude J. Mehringer and Mary Catherine Mehringer (Brosmer); and his sister Donna Scherle. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Kay and Eric Mehringer (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Aidan, Noah Kay, Joslyn, Bryant and Emery Mehringer; his siblings, Diane Verkamp (Charlie), Martha Keusch (Kevin), Trish Mehringer (Dan), Stan Mehringer (Mary Jane) and Glen Mehringer (Marcia); and his brother-in-law Bob Scherle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
