It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda M. Messmer of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Westfall and Marie Westfall (Purdue); her husband Preceding; and her half-sisters, Lois Vanway, Mary Joiner, Carolyn Wiggans, Nelda Feagley, Alice Paul, Ava Sue Fulling and Sarah Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Messmer (Rita), Mark Messmer (Kim) of Jasper, IN, Carla Schuch (Paul) of Ormond Beach, FL, Roger Messmer (Mary Jo) of Jasper, IN and Pamela Freyberger of Jasper, IN; and her brother Myron Westfall of Poseyville, IN.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (950 Church Ave, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
