He is survived by: his children, Samantha Granat (Scott) of Gillette, WY, Laura Kelly of Pierre, SD, Jeremiah Slater (Erika Bjornson) of Dickinson, ND and Sarah Gunkel (Jessie) of Golva, ND; and his brother Wesley Slater (Mary Erickson) of Janesville, WI. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
