James Robert McGovren Obituary

He was predeceased by: his mothers, Roberta McGovren (Fuhs) and Linda Thewes of Joseph's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Michael McGovren and Maureen McGovren. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his brother John McGovren (Susan); his nephew Matt McGovren (Kelly); his niece Shea McGovren (Bret Fromm); and his great-nieces, Reagan, Nora and Ruby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, or to the Dubois County Foundation – Jim and Linda McGovren Scholarship Endowment.
