It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James F. Lehmkuhler of Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper "Cap" Lehmkuhler and Dorothy Lehmkuhler (Dooley); his wife Judith Ann "Judy" Eckstein of Joseph's Catholic Church; his brothers, Casper "Cas" Leon, Donald L., William Edward and Larry W. Lehmkuhler; and his sister-in-law Naomi Lehmkuhler.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Bean (Michael) of Jasper, IN and Jon Lehmkuhler (Danielle) of Lebanon, IN; his grandchildren, Paige, Noah Bean, Jessica and Ava Lehmkuhler; and his sisters-in-law, Mary, Judy, Linda and Madeline "Mattie".
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1020 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
