He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Egler and Clara Egler (Blattel); his wife Rita M. Giesler; and his stepfather John Stemle. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Mann (Matt), Jennifer Ulsomer (Chris) and Tom Egler (Kim); and his grandchildren, Chloe Goepfrich (Adam), Eli Mann, Gavin, Brynlee Egler and Henry "Hank" Ulsomer.
