He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus L. Eckert and Gertrude Eckert (Beumel); his wife Nancy Wold of Paul's Catholic Church; his grandson Zach Eckert; and his siblings, Betty Jo Eckert, Caroline Mathies, Ruth Ann Durham and Donald Eckert.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Boeglin (Brett), Jane Gehlhausen (Pat), Mike Eckert (Kyle), Steve Eckert (Tiffany), Tim Eckert (Barbara), Nick Eckert (Patty) and Scott Eckert. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
