She was predeceased by: her parents, August Hochgesang and Veronica Hochgesang (Brosmer); her spouse Charlie Tuell; and her siblings, Cynthia "Cindy" Hochgesang and William "Bill" Hochgesang.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Neukam (John) of Huntingburg, IN and Krista Kiefer (Josh) of Jasper, IN; her sisters, Mary Jean "Jeannie" Begle (Jim) of St. Anthony, IN, Janet Braunecker (Joseph "Junie") of St. Anthony, IN, Linda of St. Anthony, IN, Brenda of St. Anthony, IN and Laura Hochgesang of St. Anthony, IN; her sister-in-law Carol Hochgesang of Clarksville, TN; her brothers, Ernest "Ernie" Hochgesang (Eileen), Michael "Mick" Hochgesang (Tami) of Birdseye, IN and Richard "Rick" Hochgesang (Jenny); her brother-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Young of Jasper, IN; her grandchildren, Kendall Anderson (Dylan), Kenzie Neukam, Levi Neukam, Xavier Kiefer, Elijah "Eli" Kiefer and Olivia Kiefer; and her great grandchildren, Knox and Andi Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (105 N 2nd St, Holland, IN 47541). A burial will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the St. Anthony Cemetery.
