He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Hochgesang and Mary Hochgesang (Burger); his wife Betty Ann Gehlhausen of Jasper; his daughter Valerie Englert (Steve); his granddaughters, Lydia Diedrich and Margaret Englert; his siblings, Sue Durcholz, Wayne Hochgesang (Irene) and Kenny Hochgesang (Bert); his daughter Crystal Hochgsang; and his brother Leonard Hochgesang.
