He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Clara Ruth Brenton (Stranahan); his son Douglas Brenton; and his siblings, Michael Brenton and Patty Lynn Brenton.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Brenton (Joanne) of California and Tiffany Brenton of California; his girlfriend Annette Killian; and his siblings, John Brenton, Helen Pontis (Darrell), Richard Brenton (Ellen), Fred Brenton, Jane Archer (Fred) and Ronnie Brenton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
