He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Padgett and Darla J. Padgett (Miller); and his nephew Carl Ray James Crichfield. He is survived by: his wife Mariah Padgett (Crowe) of Jasonville, IN; his children, Kenton Ryan King of Seattle, WA, Chase C. Padgett of Avon, IN and Gavin James Padgett of Bloomington, IN; and his siblings, Heath Padgett (Jessica) of Jasonville, IN, Travis James Padgett (Sharon) of San Antonio, TX, Thea M. Walton (Darren) of Daytona Beach, FL, Talisha J. Crane (Edward) of Terre Haute, IN and Kevin W. Crichfield (Blanche) of Bicknell, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
