He is survived by: his wife Brenda Pilant of Jasonville, IN; his children, Lisa Kirk of Jasonville, IN, Kimberly Kates (Bruce) of Wentzville, MO, Gwen Edmonson (Ronald) of Linton, IN and Arthur Pilant of Jasonville, IN; his grandchildren, Stephanie Miller (Josh), James Kirk (Nicki Withycombe), Aaron Kates, Ethan Kates, Kasondra Adams (Kenny), Ron Edmonson, Oakley Pilant (Bryar Dollahan), Thomas Brinson and Hannah Brinson; his great grandchildren, Trinity Adams, Avory Adams, Gage Adams, Alaric Kirk and Ryan Kirk; and his brother Bill Pilant (Robin) of Lewis, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
