It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Marie (Simpson) Kennedy of Jasonville, Indiana, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simpson and Lula Simpson (Hansford); her daughter Debra Towell; her brothers, Jim Simpson and Vola Jay Simpson; and her brother-in-law Dean Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Towell (Mary) of Jasonville, IN, Debbie Wogoman (Tim Jr.) of Jasonville, IN and Rita Wilson of Jasonville, IN; her siblings, Bill Simpson (Cookie) of Shelburn, IN, Awona Watson of Jasonville, IN and Jack Simpson (Natalie) of Opelika, AL; and her sisters-in-law, Patty Simpson of Shelbyville, IN and Doris Simpson of Coalmont, IN. She is also survived by grandchildren – 11; great-grandchildren – 34; great-great-grandchildren.
