He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence W. Strain and Pearl Strain (Johnson); his daughter Lori Jean; and his siblings, Mary Lou Kester, Russell Lloyd Stain and Richard Lee Strain.
He is survived by: his wife Corky Strain (Selby); his son Brad Strain; his stepchildren, David Lucas and Darla Barnett; and his sister Judy Ann Cress of Terre Haute, Indiana.. He is also survived by nine Grandchildren.
