He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Landis and Margaret Landis (Cook); his son Jerry "Brud" Landis; and his siblings, Jim Landis and Judy Landis.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbe Landis of Jasonville, IN; his daughters, Lisa (Kennett), Rehmel (David) of Linton, IN and Gina Lovelace (Rick) of Dugger, IN; his grandchildren, Joshua Kennett, Ashlee Nickerson (Johnny) and Parker Lovelace (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Claire, Bentley, Lilliana, Emma and Maggie; and his siblings, Bill Landis of Linton, IN and Janetta Heaton of Linton, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
