It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Carpenter (Jasonville, Indiana), born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Carpenter and Mary Carpenter (Barbour); his children, Terry Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Rickey Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter and Don Beddow; and his siblings, Alma Payton (Charles) and Leonard Carpenter.

He is survived by: his wife Cleobelle "Trudy" Carpenter of Jasonville, IN; his children, Gary Carpenter (Donna) of Terre Haute, IN, Randy Carpenter of Black Hawk, IN, Marlena Cano (Terry) of Clay City, IN, Trudy K. Jensen (John Mark) of Fresno, CA, Candy Oswalt (Jerry) of South Bend, IN, Hope Koester (Clay) of Effingham, IL and Tracy Carpenter (Christi) of Jasonville, IN; and his brother Bob Carpenter (Dori). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

“Gary and Randy , the passing of a loved one is never easy but your father lived a full life and I’m sure he is in a good place . I met your dad when I was at the age of 8 years old and the both of you were not much older he was a very smart and talented man and provided well for the family .Sorry I missed Jerry’s funeral as I wasn’t aware of his passing. So because of the covid-19 virus and my own health risks I figured this would be the best way to say I feel the sorrow . Larry king”
