We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2024, at the age of 103, Hilda R. Keene of Jasonville, Indiana, born in Howesville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Hilda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Hilda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Yeryar and Ruby Jean Yeryar (Gibson); her spouse Emory G. Keene; her son Gregory Lance Keene; her sister Marjorie Weir (John); and her granddaughter Rachel Hauser.
She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Keene (Emily) of Lakeland, FL and Blaine Keene (Cindy) of Jasonville, IN. She is also survived by grandchildren and several great- grandchildren; several cousins.
