He was predeceased by: his parents, Donovan Douglas "Dick" Housel and Sarah Kathleen "Kathy" Housel (Taylor); his wife Dru; his brothers, Charles Housel and Jim Housel; and his son Chuck Housel.
He is survived by: his children, Donovan Housel of Spencer, IN, Dawn Welch (Gary Murillo) of Jasonville, IN and Dara Carmichael (Tim) of Calvertville, IN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
