She was predeceased by: her parents, Lystra Durrell "Tubby" Mitchell and Hazel Mitchell (Gambill); her son Gerald "Gary" Scott'; her siblings, Shirley Sapp (Bill), June Shacklett (Brian) and Jerry Mitchell; and her brother-in-law David Brashear.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Scott; her children, Kenny Scott (Anita) of Linton, IN, Karen Bays (Randy) of Zionsville, IN, Donnie Scott of Jasonville, IN and David Scott of Jasonville, IN; her siblings, Patsy Hill (Jerry) of Jasonville, IN, Beverley Brashear of Linton, IN, Sharon West (Donny) of Indianapolis, IN, Tom Mitchell (Shelia) of Black Hawk, IN, Bob Mitchell (Jaquies) of Jasonville, IN and Jim Mitchell of Jasonville, IN; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Scott of Jasonville, IN and Elaine Harper (Max). She is also survived by grandchildren;19 – great-grandchildren; 2 – great-great grandchildren.
