He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack K. Kiplinger and Joyce K. Kiplinger (Applegate); his former wife Barbara Kiplinger; and his brother Bobby Kiplinger. He is survived by: his wife Betty Kiplinger (Keeley) of Jamestown; his sons, Brad Kiplinger (Jeni) of Roachdale and James Kiplinger (Jessica) of Lebanon; his stepdaughters, Tammy Swafford (Jeff) of Lebanon and Lisa Smith of Lebanon; his siblings, Kent Kiplinger of Muncie, Debbie Hurst (Dennis) of Oregon, Missy Blevins (Dean) of Muncie and Kathy Whitmore (Frank) of Shirley; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Cole (Ron) of Jamestown, Marjorie Runion (George) of Mooresville and Catherine Davis (Doug) of Lebanon.
