She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bauer and Betty Bauer (McCarty); her brother Phil Bauer; and her son-in-law Mark Dustman. She is survived by: her daughter Kathi; her husband Tom Swearer; her daughters, Lisa Clifton (Todd Swain) and Jennifer Dustman; her stepdaughter Heather Hurley (Larry); her grandchildren, Kyle Clifton, Brandt Hurley and Tanner Hurley; her great grandchildren, Mya and Emma Hurley; her sister-in-law Shelly Nielsen; and her nephew Steven Shaw.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
