He was predeceased by: his parents, Marylyn Smith (Littleton) and Richard Smith; and his brother Jeff Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carole Smith of Jamestown; his children, B. J. Smith (Tara) of Plainfield, Crystin Peterman (Marion) of Kentucky and Dylan Shannon (Heather) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Alexis, Johnathan, Matthew, Logan, Reagan and Jared; and his siblings, Paula Crickmore (Mitchell), Gary Smith and Chris Smith (Diane).
