He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin "Dutch" Bennington and Edna Bennington (Roe); and his brother John R. Bennington. He is survived by: his nephews, Jay Bennington (Marnie) of Noblesville and Jeff Bennington (Cherish) of Whitestown; his great-nephews, Sam and Noah Bennington; and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Bennington of Whitestown.
