He is survived by: his children, Sandy Schmitt (Stan) of Jasper, IN, Cindy Mehringer of Jasper, IN, Phyllis Werne of Jasper, IN, Randy Mehringer (Betty) of Jasper, IN, Sam Mehringer (Lisa) of Loogootee, IN and Christopher Mehringer (Jim Gibson) of Charlotte, TN; his sisters, Evelyn Sermersheim of Ireland, IN and Millie Dick of Jasper, IN.; and his caregiver Susan Flores. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
