She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Schmitt and Caroline Schmitt (Mehringer); her children, Joseph and Donna Schnaus; and her siblings, Viola Matthews, Reuben, Robert and Dominic Jr. "Junie" Schmitt.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Schnaus of Ireland, IN; and her children, Sara Hopf (Richard) of Jasper, IN, Geri Snyder (David) of Leander, TX, Karen Haynes (Gary) of Parsons, KS, Denis Schnaus (Sandy) of Jasper, IN and Denise Schnaus of Ireland, IN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
