She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Goeppner and Mattieline Goeppner (Huber); her son James "Jimmy" Best; and her brothers, Leroy, Lee Albert and Bernie Goeppner.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Best of Ireland, IN; her children, Tonya Wininger (Adam) of Jasper, IN and Kurt Best (Shanelle) of Jasper, IN; her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Barbee, Brianna Moffatt, Haley Wininger, Blaine Best, Bentley Best, Bekam Best, Clayton Best and Chase Best; and her siblings, Rosie Jellison (Larry) of Jasper, IN, Wilma Stemle (Dave) of Ireland, IN, Donna Freyberger of Jasper, IN, Marilyn Beier (Bernie) of Ireland, IN, Ralph Goeppner (Carol) of Jasper, IN and Clete Goeppner of Ireland, IN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2829 N 500 W, Jasper, IN 47546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the St. Mary Cemetery.
