With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo W. Schnaus of Ireland, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schnaus and Clara Schnaus (Stenftenagel); his spouse Verena C. Schmitt of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Joseph and Donna Schnaus; and his siblings, Dorothy Heichelbech, Alice Helling, Clarence, Felix and Amos Schnaus.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Hopf (Richard) of Jasper, IN, Geri Snyder (David) of Leander, TX, Karen Haynes (Gary) of Parsons, KS, Denis Schnaus (Sandy) of Jasper, IN and Denise Schnaus of Parsons, KS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland or to a favorite charity.
