He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Weidenbenner and Olevia Weidenbenner (Durcholz); his wife Esther Tretter; his son-in-law Al Howard; his brothers, Morris and Jerome Weidenbenner; and his brothers-in-law, Alvin Mehringer and Maurice Eckerle.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Howard of Gilroy, CA, Debbie Schwenk (Mike) of Ireland, IN, Karen (Ken), Donna Schroering (Ken) of Evansville, IN and Dennis Weidenbenner (Clare) of Ireland, IN; his siblings, Virginia Mehringer of Jasper, IN, Frances Waddell (Jim) of Jasper, IN, Marilyn Eckerle of Greenwood, IN and Bernie Weidenbenner (Dorothy) of Jasper, IN; and his sister-in-law Helena Weidenbenner of Ireland, IN.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, six step grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 16 step great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to a St. Mary's Catholic Church, Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation or to a favorite charity.
