Fern L. Bonifer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Fern L. Bonifer of Ireland, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marvin Henke and Milda Henke; her friends, Hugo, Sophie and Roseadale; her husband Robert Lee Bonifer; her grandson Luke Mehringer; her son Brian; her sister Jeanne Rust (Joe) of Holland; and her nieces and nephews, Michael of Los Angeles, Mark of Indianapolis, Anne Mehringer (Bucket) of Ireland, Alan (Marilyn) of Tampa and Beth Underwood (Carl) of Ireland. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In 2020, she cut fabric for over 10, 000 Covid masks her daughter and friends sewed and sold.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Women of the Moose, the Luke Mehringer Endowment Fund, the Jasper High School Jazz Band, or to a favorite charity.
